They show you how to take the photograph/shutter/exposure and everything else you need to take a good image.

The index are clearly set out so you can find any subject you want easily and quickly and he explains how to do it in simple language.

These books are set up for beginners but to be honest they are just as good for an experienced photographer to refresh their memories.  I would highly recommend Tom Angs range of books.
